Over the last 20+ years, I have been the UX specialist at Ford Motor Company charged with leading change in their User Experience or Human Machine Interface (HMI). In that time, among the many successes, I have also had to learn some hard lessons. On the back of that experience, I have become an empathic and innovative thought-leader, who adds value at every stage of the design process with a drive to stage the conditions for interactions that satisfy human goals and enable meaningful experiences.
My intuition to relate project briefs to human goals and drive the project to satisfy those goals is how I align designers, engineers, and stakeholders to realize their shared vision to create great outcomes. Fundamentally, this is about creating confident user experiences, that set a foundation to unlock the capability of the product to fulfill the aspirations of the user.
